2.Outside Diameter (OD): This is the measurement of the outer circular edge of the O-ring in its relaxed state. Again, it is usually measured from the outside edges of the O-ring.
3.Cross-Section Diameter (CS): Also known as the thickness or width, this measurement refers to the diameter of the O-ring when it is in a round or circular cross-section. It is often referred to as the "width" of the O-ring.
O-rings are typically specified with the ID, OD, and CS measurements in millimeters (mm) or inches (inches). For example, an O-ring might be labeled as "20mm ID x 30mm OD x 5mm CS," indicating an inside diameter of 20mm, an outside diameter of 30mm, and a cross-section diameter of 5mm.
