Rubber Hardness
From the sealing performance point of view, O-ring is a very ideal static seal, but when its hardness and compression deformation rate are not selected, leakage may occur. Generally speaking, when the internal pressure is high, O-rings with high hardness should be selected. If the hardness is not high enough, the compression deformation rate (amount) of it is larger, and the same sealing effect can be obtained.
