Rubber diaphragms are mainly used in valves, regulating valves, automatic mechanical followers, switches and counters for flow, pressure, differential, liquid level, constant temperature volume thermal compensation, etc. Its advantages are high working reliability, good compounding, long working life and low cost.
In low-pressure operations, the force generated by the cloth reinforcement membrane may become redundant. For this type of operation, it is possible to use a rubber diaphragm constructed of uniformly elastic all-rubber. These diaphragms can also provide the same advantages of a cloth-reinforced diaphragm while increasing the economic benefits of using a uniform elastic configuration.
