Metal Encased Rubber Bonded Bushings Mounts

SWKS bushing mounts, also known as bushings, bushes or center bonded bushings, are used in applications such as vehicle suspensions which absorb extreme static and dynamic forces while dampening shocks and vibrations. Because of its cylindrical shape, the bushing acts an anti vibration interface between two parts, usually metal objects, without prohibiting movement and increasing flexibility.

Using a fully bonded rubber to metal design, the rubber compound is bonded to both the inner and outer sleeves. This design virtually eliminates high frequencies while supporting high loads in all directions.

SWKS manufacture various different designs of fully bonded suspension bushes to suit our customers’ individual applications. The suspension bush can be configured with a solid central metal core incorporating lugs or alternatively with a hole through the centre, providing different installation options. Suspension bushes can also be produced with solid or segmented/split outer metals, and in standard mild steel or aluminium material options. They are commonly used in vehicle suspension systems for both road and off-highway vehicles.
