Production Introduction

The wrap-around O-Ring combines the elasticity and sealing properties of rubber with the chemical resistance of Teflon. It consists of a SILICONE rubber or FKM rubber inside and a relatively thin Teflon FEP or Teflon PFA overcoat. , this rubber plus Teflon O-RING has excellent sealing properties. Generally, rubber O-RING is easy to wear, has poor chemical corrosion resistance and gas permeability resistance (except FFKM). Pure Teflon O-RING has higher hardness and can resist compression but has poor elasticity. The outer Teflon FEP/Teflon PFA ORING has good resistance to solvent swelling and chemical stability (unless it is attacked by metals, fluorine and some halides at high temperatures), and the O-RING near the rubber part has good elasticity, The friction coefficient of Teflon FEP/Teflon PFA is very small (only 0.1~0.2), and it has excellent resistance to gas permeation. These properties make the coated O-Ring really applicable in harsh environments.
